A Prospering Partnership
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Car Fund.  For a quarter of a century, we have been providing priests, religious and church workers with brand new and pre-owned cars at very favourable rates, along with a range of support services.
The Car Fund is a unique, New Zealand-wide enterprise.  It is based on a mutually beneficial partnership between car manufacturers, franchise suppliers, the Car Fund Trust, and Car Fund members.
The Fund itself is non-profit-making with all benefits channelled back to the members through the cars they receive.
Since it was established in 1982, the Car Fund has gone from strength to strength.  It began as the Archdiocesan Car Fund in 1982, and then expanded to become the Diocesan Car Fund and, finally, the Diocesan Car Fund Trust, supplying a choice of vehicles to more and more members throughout New Zealand.
The Fund has enjoyed experienced and stable management with Ray Lindsay at the helm since 1988.  Today the total fleet value amounts to $6,500,000 and membership numbers have reached 360.  Most of all, the Car Fund offers members peace of mind.  It helps members avoid the pitfalls of the open car market and takes the hassle out of motoring.  This combination of great value and comprehensive support services has been the key to the Fund’s success for the last 25 years and is the foundation for an exciting future.
Our sincere thanks to members and partners for your loyalty and support over 25 years.
Together we look forward to writing the next exciting chapter in the Car Fund story.
