Maintenance and servicing
  1. Always use the franchised dealer for particular make of your vehicle. This is a must if we are to retain new car warranty on motor and bodywork of your vehicle. If none available, contact us.
  2. Read your vehicle handbook and note warranty requirements and service check details. First service, 1000 kilometers or the kilometers as stated in service handbook.
  3. Monthly or fortnightly:
    1. Clean your vehicle – exterior and interior
    2. Check water level – for washers and radiator
    3. Check oil level
    4. Check tyre pressures (when cold is the best). Note recommended tyre pressures (on door pillar of most vehicles or in handbook) 30–32 (p.s.i) in all tyres gives harder ride but longer tread wear.
  4. Warrant of Fitness (WOF) – It is your responsibility to action renewal. Refer to sticker on windscreen for expiry date details.
  5. Rotate your tyres as directed in handbook. This can be done at servicing time. Simply request for this to be done.
  6. If steering shimmers, pulls to one side, or you notice other problems, have wheel balance and/or alignment checked. Failure to do so leads to undue tyre wear.
  7. If while cleaning you notice undue tyre wear, action as per Note no 5 above. Tyres on today’s vehicles should last 50,000 kms+ on higher pressure.
  8. Under Fleet Management, transportation of animals in our vehicles is prohibited.
  9. Kilometer Returns: Advise Car Fund Office every 2 months: February, April, June, August, October and December, by phone, email, post or fax.
